Dad loves...
Dad
Gerald (Jerry) Worzella
This morning my Dad passed away unexpectedly.
He has had many health issues over the past several years including surviving cancer in full remission for nearly eight years. I think today his body just exhausted itself.
He went into the hospital yesterday not feeling good and went through 7 hours in the E.R. including a battery of testing. He seemed to be doing well last night and we thought he was going to be ok, but this morning his heart just didn't have the strength to keep beating and they were unable to revive him. Dad passed away this morning just after 6 am (July 15, 2010)
Even though Dad's health grew weaker as he aged there is one thing that grew
unmistakably stronger ...his capacity for Love.
Even though we are burdened with sadness not ready to say goodbye, We know Dad knew Jesus. A blessing that brings us a quiet happiness and peace. We also know he is now pain free in the loving arms of our Savior. With love we prepare to honor him in ceremony as we wish him well on his way to eternity with Our Father God.
We all love you Dad
Thanks to our friends and family for your prayers.
