As we prepare to say goodbye to our Dad we know he would want us to recognize his wife (our step-mom) and how much he loved her. We lost our Birth Mom in an auto accident quite a number of years ago. When Bonnie became a part of our family she brought an open heart filled with love for our Dad and all of our family. Her kindness grew a deep connection with all of us and over the years Bonnie has become our "second" Mom and Grandma to all of the grandchildren. She filled and empty place and helped our family feel more complete again. She has played many roles since becoming a part of our family; wife, mom, grandma, friend and most honorably a strong, loving and compassionate care taker who tirelessly looked after our Dad throughout his struggle with illnesses. We are proud and honored to call her Mom. Her love for our Dad and all of us is unmistakable. Dad often told us how much he loved her and what a blessing she was to him. I think that goes for all of us. We love you Mom.
